We recommend booking at least 30 days in advance for regular tours. For the Classic Inca Trail, permits sell out 3 to 6 months ahead, since the Ministry of Culture limits daily access. Booking early guarantees your spot, your assigned guide, and the best price without last-minute surcharges.

Yes, all of our packages that include Machu Picchu already cover the official entrance to the citadel. Tickets are personal and non-transferable, so we request each traveler's details at the time of booking. During high season, capacity is limited, which is why we recommend booking in advance.

All of our tours include official guides certified by DIRCETUR Cusco. Our guides are experts in Inca history, Andean archaeology, and high-altitude ecosystems. They speak Spanish and English, and we have Portuguese-speaking guides available for groups that need it.

For hikes in the Andes we recommend:

• Layered clothing (the weather changes quickly at altitude)
• Waterproof trekking boots with good grip
• SPF 50+ sunscreen, sunglasses, and a cap
• Trekking poles (we provide them if you need them)
• At least 2 liters of water and energy snacks
• Original identification documents

Once your booking is confirmed, we'll send you a detailed list for each tour.

We apply a flexible policy:

• More than 30 days before: full refund or free date change
• 15 to 30 days before: 50% refund or free rescheduling
• Less than 15 days before: the deposit is non-refundable, but we can reschedule

For the Inca Trail, tickets are non-refundable once issued by the Ministry of Culture.

Most of our tours have versions adapted for families and older adults. Cusco sits at 3,400 meters above sea level, so we recommend 1 to 2 days of acclimatization before starting activities.
